GPAT is a national level pharmacy exam in India which is conducted around January or February every year. Students qualifying the exam got extra benefit as a monthly fellowship reward for completing M.pharma course. In India, M.pharm colleges approved under AICTE provides monthly scholarship of Rs 12,400 till the completion of the 2 year master degree. Further, more opportunities are open for students to prepare for CSIR-NET or JRF to persue PhD for 5 years. During PhD, the govt. provides fellowship of Rs 30,000 - Rs 40,000 including house allowance based upon the type of govt university alloted for admission. The beginning of pharmacy career begins with GPAT which is a royal entry for students. The salary ranges from 2.5 to 5 lakhs per month on high post in India. Student who hold intrest to study with govt fellowship are most welcome to make their career in the filed of pharmacy.
